Solar Lamps to Mozambique

Efficient and affordable solar lanterns from the company D-Light are now being sold in Mozambique.

The project “Solar Lamps to Mozambique” has sourced, imported and started the sale of 2,000 solar lanterns through the sales network for second-hand clothes of ADPP Mozambique, and through commercial entities.

For many Mozambicans the cost of a lantern can be paid back within a year in reduced expenses on candles or kerosene.

The trade is financed with a revolving loan granted by Green World Recycling Ltd.
